At the recent Realm Makers conference in Philadelphia I (Steve) had the privilege to announce that Marcher Lord Press is being rebranded as Enclave Publishing. I am excited to officially reveal the new logo below (More thoughts after the picture).
Notice the tip of the sword…
Why the name Enclave Publishing? An enclave is essentially defined as a group of like-minded people in a place where they are surrounded by those who are not like-minded. West Berlin was an enclave during the Cold War. In Rome there is an enclave called Vatican City. Enclave Publishing is a place where authors and fans of Christian Fantasy and Science Fiction can come together. A haven. A gathering where we encourage each other, explore new ideas, hone our craft, and then take our stories out to the highways and byways where they will spark the imagination. It is not an insular or secretive society hiding behind walls. Instead it is the opposite.
There is a verse in the Bible that encapsulates what the books published by Enclave Publishing are all about. Acts 17:20 reads “You bring some strange things to our ears. We wish to know therefore what these things mean.” The highly creative stories in the Speculative Fiction genre can seem strange but underneath they contain powerful expressions of Redemption, Truth, and Hope.
We are developing the website for enclavepublishing.com and it should be up and running in the next 30 days (see the banner artwork below.)
This Fall there will be new books by Nadine Brandes, John Otte, J. Wesley Bush, and Gillian Bronte Adams (look for those announcements!). We have recently signed Ronie Kendig to write a Fantasy trilogy for release next year. In addition 2015 will see new books from Sharon Hinck, Morgan Busse, and others.

Does this mean that Marcher Lord Press will not exist anymore? That is sad to me, as I love absolutely everything about it: the name, the logo, and everything it stands for. The idea captivated me! I hope not too many things will change!

Hi Lena!
Yes, Marcher Lord Press will still exist, just with a new name and logo. And it will still produce the same books: speculative fiction with a Christian worldview. Thanks for asking!
Lena Karynn
Ok, thanks for the clarification! 🙂
I was also wondering, is there a specific reason for the change? I really liked the old name and logo.

Morgan L. Busse
Hi again! Marcher Lord Press was purchased back in January.
The new owner (after talking with the previous owner and others) decided to move forward and change the name and logo. I hope that helps!

Thanks so much!! I really appreciate you taking the time to answer all my questions! 🙂

I came to this site because last night I got a word for a young man who was asking for prayer. He flows in the healing gifts after a very traumatic young life. The word came to me….Enclave …with the gest of …of the Lord …to surround this young man. I did not know what enclave meant and asked of people around me the meaning . I came to the interenet to seek further insight as to the meaning of enclave . The word came to me spelled out. e n c l a v e
I had already perceived in my heart that I was going to pray a hedge of protection around him and a hedge of thorns to keep out the enemy.
Bless you on your journey for His Name…Jesus . Amen
Love, JOY
